The consulting company Elvenite AB was founded in 2007 by four determined partners from various companies within the strong IT sector in the Karlstad region. With a vision centered on strong customer focus and a desire to grow and build something lasting, Elvenite has over the years created a corporate culture that has been recognized both nationally and internationally for its sound values and focus on diversity.
Ambitious goals
The growth journey has been successful. Eighteen years later, the company has around 180 employees and is now part of the publicly listed group CombinedX.

Elvenite is a consulting firm with expertise and experience in digitalization and business support, focusing on industries such as food and manufacturing. Their core competence is primarily linked to the ERP system Infor M3, along with AI and BI services. Among their clients are some of Scandinavia’s largest and most influential food companies, such as Lantmännen, Kavli, and Mowi.

Swedens best workplace
At the headquarters by the waterfront in Inre Hamn, Karlstad, 60 people work, while others are based in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Linköping, Helsinki, and Romania.

The ambition to be a good employer has also been successful. In 2023, Elvenite was named Sweden’s best workplace and ranked ninth in Europe (based on employee surveys, www.greatplacetowork.se).
Close collaborations in the region
Åsa Klevmarken sees several advantages to operating in Värmland.
“We have close collaborations in the region, and Karlstad is a perfect base for continuing to grow together with our Norwegian customers, who today account for about 20 percent of our revenue. Additionally, Oslo is our nearest capital city.”

Elvenite has always had a good relationship with Karlstad University. The company actively participates in events where students meet employers and offers both internships and thesis opportunities.
There are over a hundred players in the digital sector in Värmland.
